Light on Our Shared Future: An Intercultural Participatory Workshop
Lumière sur notre avenir commun : Atelier participatif de partage interculturel
Saturday, 22/11/2025 from 3 PM to 6 PM
at Centre culturel CENTS (167 Rue de Treves, 2630 Luxembourg)
We will explore together what kind of future we wish to build in our shared home — a Luxembourg that embraces every voice and story, from Luxembourgers of many generations, to new Luxembourgers, foreign residents, refugees, and transnational commuters.
Why Participate?
• Learn how to make candles from natural beeswax and herbs.
• While creating candles, reflect on how you imagine our common future together in Luxembourg.
• Express your wish in a short written form that will become part of a collective installation — a luminous mosaic of community intentions.
• Meet and connect with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds through meaningful conversation and shared creativity.
• Learn a new skill, take home your handmade candle, and carry with you the light of togetherness.
• Enjoy a friendly atmosphere with refreshments and supervised activities for children.
Practical Information
• Participation: Free of charge.
• Registration: Places are limited and allocated on a "First come, first served" basis.
• Languages: English and French.
• Children: Welcome — supervised activities will be provided on site.
This project was conceived in the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Empowering Youth Through Soft & Entrepreneurial Skills" project (Youth Power / KA210-YOU-AABAA38A), co-funded by the European Union/ Anefore Luxembourg, coordinated by Languages.lu/Group Moraru sàrl.
