Radio reportage on ARA Radio 21/04/2026

Local democracy without filters, powerful conversations, and real people – that’s what this new Radio ARA episode is all about.

The reportage dives into our project “Let’s Demystify Local Politics!” and the very first cross‑border citizen meeting in Arlon, where residents, activists, newcomers and local politicians from Luxembourg and Belgium came together to talk openly about how local politics really works in practice.

If you’re curious about:

>> why it matters to bring people across borders to talk about politics,

>> what actually happened during the Arlon visit,

and

>> how foreign residents can find their place in local democracy,

this episode is really worth a listen.

Huge thanks to Inara Desoete and Radio ARA for giving visibility to this work, and to all participants who shared their stories so openly. Media like this help make democracy feel closer, more diverse and more human.

This project, coordinated by Politics for all (Luxembourg) in partnership with Ciep Lux / MOC (Arlon/Wallonia), is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Grande Région / Großregion programme.
