Politics for all is very honored to have received a donation of €5,000 from Rotary Club Luxembourg-Kiem and Rotary Club Luxembourg-Schuman. This support strengthens our mission to make diversity a real asset for Luxembourgish democracy, by promoting a more equitable, inclusive, and reflective political representation of the diverse composition of our society.
In particular, the donation will help us expand the reach of our ongoing campaign “Let’s demystify local politics!”, which brings Luxembourgish politicians closer to the population, and more specifically to foreign residents. With one in two residents in Luxembourg being a foreign national, fostering dialogue and participation is essential to building a more inclusive democracy. Thanks to this donation, we can broaden our initiatives to connect the international community also with national elected politicians, and this way increase political engagement, and amplify citizens’ participation.
We warmly thank Martina Roettger, president of Rotary Luxembourg-Kiem, as well as all members of both Rotary Clubs for their support and trust in our mission.

United for Blood Donation: Rotary Clubs Luxembourg Kiem and Luxembourg Schuman
turn solidarity into a €5,000 contribution to Politics for all
True to this year’s Rotary theme, United for Good, the Rotary Clubs of Luxembourg-Schuman and Luxembourg-Kiem highlighted today their shared commitment to a vital cause: blood donation. A unique interclub initiative has united people around this essential gesture and extended its impact through support for civic engagement.
Blood donation as the driving force of solidarity
This year, Rotary Club Luxembourg-Schuman launched the first-ever Interclub Blood Donation Challenge, designed to encourage as many people as possible to donate blood.Rotary Club Luxembourg-Kiem (RCLK) won the challenge, thanks to the efforts of Dr. med. Hansjörg Reimer and Daniela Clara Moraru, who mobilized both Rotarians and non-members alike to contribute to this act of generosity.
As a reward, RC Schuman presented RCLK with a check for €2,500 to be donated to an association of their choice. Demonstrating an additional step of solidarity, RCLK chose to double the amount, bringing the final donation to €5,000, which was presented to Politics for all, a Luxembourg-based nonprofit working to make politics more inclusive.
A multiplier effect for community impact
Martina Roettger, President of RCLK, stated: “Blood donation is a profoundly human and solidarity-driven act. By winning this challenge through the collective energy of our members, we wanted to go one step further by doubling the symbolic amount awarded to us. This is how Rotary creates a real multiplier effect in the service of the community.”
Philippe Hennes, President of RC Schuman, added: “The aim of launching this interclub challenge was to promote blood donation beyond our usual circles. Seeing RC Kiem mobilize so extensively and then transform this success into an even greater gift to a civic association shows the power of Rotary actions when they unite for the common good.”
Clara Moraru, President of Politics for all and member of RCLK, summarized this momentum: “This initiative shows how a vital act like blood donation can extend far beyond public health and create a true multiplier effect. Donating blood to save lives, turning that collective effort into a financial contribution, and then amplifying its impact further in support of civic participation: this is the very essence of Rotary engagement and of the theme ‘United for Good.’”
